Firmstep Business Analyst (Temporary, £25.57/hr)

About the role

This temporary position supports a complex Digital Transformation Programme, delivering analysis and solution‑design activities. You will work closely with digital transformation colleagues and service teams to turn workshop insights into clear, actionable user stories.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse statistical data, compile trends and performance reports.
• Map customer journeys, design work‑streams and process flows, and document service requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, produce high‑quality outputs (minutes, actions, risks, issues, business requirements).
• Translate workshop notes, sketches and process maps into structured user stories.
• Conduct interviews, surveys, site visits and workflow analysis to gather detailed service requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve resident experience through journey mapping and focus groups.
• Diagnose systemic weaknesses, identify root causes and define benefit‑tracking mechanisms.
• Research and benchmark against other organisations, presenting data to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience using Firmstep software.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex information.
• Excellent workshop facilitation and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality outputs on tight schedules.
