Fitness Class Instructor – Cardiff

About the role

GLL is seeking enthusiastic Fitness Class Instructors to lead a variety of group classes at Llanishen Leisure Centre in Cardiff. You will inspire participants of all ages, delivering high‑energy sessions that promote health, fitness and enjoyment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver safe, effective, and engaging fitness classes such as Zumba, Fitbeats, Dance Fitness, Step, Aqua Aerobics and Aerobics.
• Adapt, progress or regress exercises to suit different ability levels and ages.
• Maintain a fun, energetic atmosphere that motivates participants and exceeds their expectations.
• Ensure health and safety standards are consistently applied throughout each class.
• Promote GLL’s values and contribute to a positive community environment.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service focus.
• Dynamic, approachable personality with high energy levels.
• Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, inclusive classes.

Required skills

• Exercise to Music Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
• Fitness Instructor Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
