Fitness & Performance Manager (Exeter)

About the role

ROVA Health is looking for a Fitness & Performance Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operation of its on‑site Active Space in Exeter. You will coach the team, design personalised wellbeing plans for members and ensure a safe, compliant, and financially sound environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run the Active Space, managing daily operations, budgeting and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Coach, support and develop freelance instructors, providing line‑management and performance reporting.
• Design and deliver a member wellbeing programme, including health assessments and quarterly re‑programming.
• Provide 1‑to‑1 personal training sessions and lead group exercise classes.
• Promote class timetables, drive membership growth and monitor financial outcomes.

Required profile

• Level 3 Personal Training qualification, CIMSPA registered.
• Current First Aid certification.
• Experience delivering corporate fitness programmes and 1‑to‑1 personal training.
• Confidence leading group exercise classes.
• Flexibility to work across shift patterns, both solo and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite.
