Fix the Fells Partnership Manager

About the role

The Fix the Fells Partnership Manager will lead the award‑winning Fix the Fells project, a collaboration between the National Trust, Lake District National Park Authority and other partners. Working from the Lake District, you will protect upland environments while engaging a wide range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Secure and grow funding of at least £500,000 per year from existing and new sources.
• Promote the environmental and social benefits of the project to users, corporate partners and the wider public.
• Oversee delivery of the Fix the Fells strategic plan in partnership with five organisations.
• Manage finances, monitor progress and report to the Partnership Board and funders.
• Provide leadership for integrating Fix the Fells into the National Trust’s Restore Nature priorities.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in partnership or environmental projects.
• Strong track record of fundraising and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work autonomously across multiple locations and teams.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Salary of £29,297 per year (pro‑rated to £36,621 FTE) for a 30‑hour week.
