Fixed Wire Testing Engineer – Glasgow

About the role

Join phs Compliance as a Fixed Wire Testing Engineer, delivering electrical inspection and testing services to a wide range of UK and Irish customers. Based in Glasgow, you will work on diverse installations, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical inspections and testing (EICRs) on customer sites.
• Perform emergency lighting testing, fire alarm inspections, mains analysis and thermal imaging.
• Complete remedial repairs where required.
• Produce accurate reports and certifications using cloud‑based software and submit them on time.

Required profile

• SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 Part 1 & 2 (or equivalent NQV Level 3).
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 certifications.
• AM2 qualification and experience in an electrical testing environment.
• Full UK driving licence (≤6 points) and IPAF 3a & 3b licence.
