Fleet Manager

About the role

The Fleet Manager will oversee the administration and coordination of the company’s vehicle fleet, assets and office support functions. This full‑time, permanent position ensures that all vehicles and equipment remain compliant, well‑maintained and available to support operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update fleet and asset registers with accurate data.
• Schedule, monitor and track compliance activities such as servicing, MOTs, inspections, tax and insurance renewals.
• Arrange maintenance, repairs and inspections, liaising with leasing companies, maintenance providers and fuel suppliers.
• Monitor fuel usage, telematics data and driver compliance, reporting trends and issues.
• Support allocation, tracking and deployment of vehicles and equipment across operational needs.
• Maintain records of fleet costs, maintenance history and asset utilisation.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day office administration, including supplies, stationery, post and facilities.
• Process supplier administration tasks such as purchase orders, delivery tracking and invoice queries.
• Assist with health and safety administration, maintaining certificates and training records.
• Act as the first point of contact for internal enquiries related to fleet, assets and office support.

Required profile

• Strong administrative and organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven capability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Experience in fleet or asset management, or a related operational support role.
