Fleet Operations Executive – 12‑month Fixed‑Term

About the role

Santander Consumer Finance, a leading UK motor‑finance provider, is seeking an organised Fleet Operations Executive for a 12‑month fixed‑term role based in Milton Keynes (initially Newport Pagnell). The post involves supporting the efficient management of business and private vehicle fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming post, fines, email enquiries and manage V5 documentation, parking permits and travel abroad paperwork.
• Maintain accurate fleet records using internal systems and produce regular reports and management information.
• Handle customer enquiries, support road‑legal compliance (parking, fines, recalls, tax, cherished‑plate transfers) and assist with the defleet process, including vehicle collection and end‑of‑contract billing.
• Prepare invoices, update client contacts, assist with policy implementation and ensure KPI targets are met.
• Attend court for statutory declarations or justice summons where required.

Required profile

• Customer service experience with strong negotiation and tenacity.
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain discretion with sensitive financial information and make confident decisions.
• Attention to detail, sound numeracy and a persuasive, self‑motivated attitude.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• General MS Office skills for document preparation and spreadsheet management.
