About the role
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Underwriter to join a specialist motor insurer in London. The role offers the chance to manage a profitable portfolio, build strong broker relationships, and take full ownership of underwriting decisions within a respected market platform.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite and price fleet motor insurance business in line with company guidelines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and clients to grow the portfolio.
- Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring profitability and adherence to risk appetite.
- Provide technical underwriting expertise and support to the team.
- Participate in pricing reviews and product development initiatives.
Required profile
- Proven experience underwriting fleet motor insurance.
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability.
- Ability to work independently and make confident underwriting decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for broker interaction.
