About the role
We are seeking qualified Early Years Practitioners to work across a variety of nurseries in Hove, supporting children aged 0‑5 years. The role offers flexible shifts, allowing you to balance part‑time or additional work with a range of settings.
Key responsibilities
- Support children aged 0‑5 in daily routines, play, and learning activities.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that meets EYFS standards.
- Collaborate with nursery teams to deliver high‑quality early years provision.
- Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of UK nursery experience with children aged 0‑5.
- Qualified (Level 2/Level 3 or above) in Early Years Education.
- Right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- 5‑year reference history with explanations for any employment gaps.
Required skills
- Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Safeguarding Level 2 Certificate.
