Flexible Supply Teacher

About the role

We are looking for qualified primary teachers who want flexible, local work in Sutton and Merton. As a Flexible Supply Teacher you will step into classrooms on a daily or short‑term basis, delivering pre‑planned lessons and supporting pupils while their regular teacher is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons for EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations.
• Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures and provide clear handover notes.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Recent experience teaching in primary schools.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

Required skills

• Ability to deliver pre‑prepared lesson plans effectively.
• Understanding of safeguarding and school policies.
