Flexible Teaching Assistant – Support SEN Students

About the role

We are looking for a Flexible Teaching Assistant to join local primary schools in Blackpool and provide dedicated support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role can be full‑time, part‑time or day‑to‑day, allowing you to choose a schedule that fits your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group support to SEN pupils, helping them progress socially and academically.
• Work closely with teachers, other assistants and external professionals to create the best learning environment.
• Assist with behaviour management inside the classroom and throughout the school premises.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an educational setting, preferably with SEN students.
• Comprehensive educational and employment background.
• Availability for at least two days per week and demonstrated flexibility.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
