Floor Layer – Responsive Repairs

About the role

Liberty Group is seeking an experienced Floor Layer to join its Responsive Repairs team in Salford. You will deliver high‑quality flooring installations and repairs across occupied social housing, domestic and commercial properties.

Key responsibilities

• Install, renew and repair wet‑room floors.
• Fit a variety of flooring materials such as vinyl, carpet, Polysafe, linoleum, rubber and timber‑based products.
• Prepare sub‑floors and surfaces to ensure a durable finish.
• Carry out fitting, finishing and refurbishment works in domestic settings.
• Plan jobs, manage materials and equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or recognised apprenticeship) in floor laying.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
