Florist – Market Street Store

About the role

Join the Market Street store team as a Florist, creating vibrant flower displays and custom arrangements for local shoppers. You will use your floristry expertise to craft high‑quality products and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert customer service, taking orders and offering advice on flower care and arrangement styles.
• Design and prepare hand‑tied bouquets and value‑added floral arrangements to company standards.
• Maintain fresh, attractive, and well‑stocked flower displays throughout the trading day, rotating stock to minimise waste.
• Coach colleagues, sharing floristry techniques and ensuring health, safety and compliance standards are met.

Required profile

• Qualified or experienced florist (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent).
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment and willing to travel to nearby stores when needed.
• Warm, approachable attitude with a genuine passion for helping shoppers.
• Team‑player who enjoys coaching colleagues and maintaining a safe, tidy department.

Required skills

• Creative floristry design and construction.
• Knowledge of flower care, product quality standards and stock rotation.
