FLT Driver – Temp-to-Perm Warehouse Role

About the role

Join a leading food production warehouse in South Yorkshire as an FLT Driver. This temporary‑to‑permanent position offers full‑time hours across two shift patterns, supporting the packaging and storage of Yorkshire Puddings for retail customers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the boxing area with required packaging for each production run.
• Transfer finished goods to chilled or frozen storage.
• Load and unload vehicles, verify raw‑material deliveries and record them in the stock control system.
• Perform stock rotation, daily counts and order picking for dispatch.
• Maintain GMP standards, complete paperwork and conduct FLT safety checks.
• Inspect finished product for damage before shipment and follow HACCP, COSHH and PPE procedures.

Required profile

• Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Ability to work in both hot and cold areas and handle manual lifting.
• Punctual, reliable and flexible with shift patterns.
