FMCG Warehouse Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the efficient movement of goods within our FMCG warehouse and production environment. In this permanent, double‑day shift role you will support the Warehouse Manager, ensure safety and SOP compliance, and drive continuous improvement across stock handling processes.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Warehouse Manager and team to ensure all activities are performed safely and in line with SOPs.
• Transact stock movements, shipments, and storage using SAP (and future WMS).
• Supervise the movement of finished goods and raw materials, including parent reels.
• Coordinate shipment schedules and storage allocation, ensuring adequate space and safe handling.
• Maintain communication with hauliers and internal groups regarding stock levels and volumes.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety across all areas.
• Assist in recruitment and interview processes for warehousing staff.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high‑performing team, emphasizing safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Team Leader in a supply chain or production environment.
• Strong understanding of ERP and WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Synergy SNAP, Oracle).
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
