Food and Beverage Assistant (Bank)

About the role

Join the Food and Beverage team at Aldridge Care Home, supporting residents during meals and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. You will work closely with residents, helping them choose options and enjoy freshly prepared food in a caring environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with meal selection and serve meals according to their preferences.
• Set dining tables following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, tidy front‑of‑house area and manage crockery throughout the day.
• Replenish homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fresh fruit in the bistro areas.
• Observe and respect residents' dietary requirements.

Required profile

• Demonstrates the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable.
• Maintains high standards of personal hygiene.
• Shows compassion and commitment to delivering quality culinary service.
• Previous experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel is desirable.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.
