Food & Beverage Assistant (Bank) – Care Home

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our award‑winning team at Cliveden Manor Care Home in Marlow. In this bank position you will support the dining service and help residents enjoy their meals in a caring environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents in selecting meal options and serve meals according to their preferences.
• Set up and clear dining tables following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, tidy front‑of‑house area and ensure dirty crockery is removed promptly.
• Refresh bistro areas with homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fresh fruit throughout the day.
• Observe and respect residents’ dietary requirements and any special instructions.

Required profile

• Demonstrates high standards of personal hygiene.
• Shows compassion and a commitment to delivering quality culinary service to residents.
• Values caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable behaviour.

Required skills

• Basic Food Hygiene knowledge (Food Hygiene Certificate desirable).
