About the role

Join Avery Healthcare’s award‑winning team at Bagshot Gardens Care Home as a Food & Beverage Assistant (Bank). You will support residents during meals, ensuring a pleasant dining experience while upholding the home’s high standards of hospitality and care.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents in selecting meal options and serve their meals.
• Set up dining tables according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, tidy front‑of‑house area and promptly clear and replace crockery.
• Replenish homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fresh fruit in the bistro throughout the day.
• Observe and respect residents’ dietary requirements.

Required profile

• Demonstrates the values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable.
• Maintains high standards of personal hygiene.
• Previous experience in a similar hospitality setting (restaurant, hotel, care home) is desirable.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.
• Shows compassion and commitment to delivering quality culinary services.
