Food & Beverage Assistant – Casual (Manchester)

About the role

Join the vibrant hospitality team at Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford as a Food & Beverage Assistant. Working in a dynamic environment that serves hotel guests, sports fans and concert‑goers, you will help deliver the signature "Lancashire welcome" across our bar, restaurant and event spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests and create a positive first impression.
• Provide restaurant and bar service, including food, drinks and cocktail preparation.
• Take orders accurately and deliver them efficiently.
• Prepare, maintain and tidy restaurant and bar areas, setting up tables to standard.
• Handle payments in line with company procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe and well‑presented work areas.
• Upsell food, drinks and promotions to support departmental targets.

Required profile

• Flexibility to work a range of shift patterns between 5 am and 1 am, including weekends.
• Experience in waiting and bar service, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Hotel experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a friendly, warm personality.
