Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead the operations of a prestigious hotel and restaurant located just outside Milton Keynes. The role involves overseeing all F&B outlets, ensuring high service standards, and driving revenue growth while working a flexible schedule that includes weekends and shift work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant, bar, banqueting, and room service.
• Maintain hygiene, food safety compliance, and service quality.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff while controlling labour costs.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase F&B revenue.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and analyse financial KPIs.
• Control food and beverage costs through inventory management and supplier negotiations.
• Identify new business opportunities such as events and corporate clients.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions and special offers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in F&B management or hospitality leadership.
• Strong understanding of sales, revenue management and cost control.
• Leadership, team‑management and excellent communication skills.
• Financial acumen with ability to analyse reports and KPIs.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and travel to a remote location.
• Own transport is essential.
