Food & Beverage Multi‑Skilled Team Member

About the role

Join the dynamic Food & Beverage team at Ibis Birmingham New Street, where you will work across the kitchen, restaurant, bar and conference areas. The role is flexible, with rotating shifts, and requires you to adapt quickly to a variety of guest‑focused tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present menu items while adhering to cost and waste targets.
• Maintain stock rotation, control procedures and minimise wastage.
• Assist apprentices in food preparation and production.
• Set up and clean conference rooms for events.
• Take guest orders, operate the POS system and ensure accurate, prompt service.
• Deliver meals to guests, maintaining temperature and presentation standards.
• Keep all work areas, equipment and service stations clean and well‑maintained.
• Report any equipment or safety issues to management.

Required profile

• Ability to work flexible hours and handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
• Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Willingness to learn and follow hotel procedures.
