Food Production Operative (Ambient Environment)

About the role

We are seeking reliable Food Production Operatives to join a busy ambient‑temperature manufacturing site that supplies major retailers. The role offers stable weekday daytime shifts, with the possibility of moving from a temporary contract to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Operate on a production line handling a variety of food products.
• Pack, sort and label items to meet quality standards.
• Carry out simple visual and quality checks.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Perform light to moderate lifting throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Dependable, positive and hands‑on attitude.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working at a steady pace.
• Good attention to detail.
• Previous production or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential.
• Own transport is advantageous due to the rural location; public transport from nearby towns is available.
