Food Production Operative – Liquid Food Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Food Production Operative to join a busy food manufacturing site that produces high‑quality liquid food products for the catering and food‑service sector. The role is initially on an ongoing temporary basis with the potential to become permanent after six months for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, blend and process liquid food products according to production schedules and recipes.
• Operate production machinery and carry out basic fault‑finding when required.
• Record production data accurately and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Perform Clean‑in‑Place (CIP) procedures on lines and process tanks.
• Package finished products and prepare them for the warehouse.
• Clean machinery and production areas to food‑manufacturing standards.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure the department meets quality and safety KPIs.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality procedures.
• Ability to read and follow production schedules and recipes.
• Attention to detail with accurate record‑keeping.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and good communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg repeatedly.
• Own transport to reach the Ringwood site.

What we offer

• £12.71 per hour
• 45‑hour week, Monday‑Friday 7:00 am‑4:30 pm
• Two unpaid 30‑minute breaks per day
• Opportunity to progress to a permanent role after six months
