Food Server

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Food Server to join our team at CERU Restaurants in London. The role involves welcoming guests, presenting our Eastern Mediterranean sharing menu, and ensuring a memorable dining experience in our South Kensington and Queensway venues.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and explain dishes and ingredients.
• Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Set, clear and maintain tables and the dining area in a clean, welcoming condition.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to coordinate service.
• Handle payments and process guest requests or feedback professionally.
• Support special events, catering services and uphold food safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a focus on hospitality.
• Experience or knowledge of food‑and‑beverage operations and basic food safety.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays safely.
• Team‑oriented, reliable and positive attitude in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic food safety and hygiene awareness.
• Understanding of menu items and ingredients from the Levant.
