Food Technician

About the role
We are looking for a Food Technician to support Food Technology lessons in a secondary school in Harrow. This part‑time, temporary position offers the chance to gain classroom experience while working alongside teaching staff.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering Food Technology lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5.
- Set up practical sessions, including preparation and cleaning of kitchen equipment.
- Maintain health and safety standards in the school kitchen.
- Support students during practical activities as directed by senior staff.
Required profile
- Relevant food preparation background.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Willingness to hold an Enhanced DBS (or obtain one).
- Hard‑working and passionate about food education.
