About the role
We are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Blackpool to recruit a passionate Food Technology Teacher for the full academic year starting September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging, practical lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 within a well‑resourced department.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver hands‑on Food Technology lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, organized classroom and kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross‑curricular projects.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
- Commitment to student progress and practical learning.
