Food Technology Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Food Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in South Croydon from September 2026. The role is full‑time, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive Design & Technology department.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, practical Food Technology lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Assess student work, provide feedback and track progress.
• Contribute to the wider Design & Technology curriculum and departmental initiatives.
• Participate in whole‑school activities, pastoral duties and extra‑curricular programmes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas teaching qualification recognised as equivalent by UK NARIC.
• Demonstrated ability to teach Food Technology to a high standard.
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to raising achievement and supporting student progress.
