Food Technology Teacher

About the role
Supply Staff Limited is seeking a qualified Food Technology Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term position at a secondary school in Hertfordshire. You will inspire students to develop practical cooking skills, understand nutrition, and appreciate the science behind food preparation.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons, both practical and theoretical.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support the school’s academic goals.
- Prepare students for examinations and practical assessments.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) certification.
- PGCE or equivalent qualification; NQTs are welcome to apply.
- Passion for teaching Food Technology and strong classroom management skills.
