About the role

An outstanding secondary school in West London is seeking a passionate Food Technology Teacher to start in September. The role involves delivering engaging Food Technology lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering creativity, technical skill and confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Food Technology curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
• Prepare practical sessions, manage resources and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and support individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with the Design & Technology department to enhance cross‑subject initiatives.
• Contribute to whole‑school activities, staff meetings and professional development programmes.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) designation.
• Ability to teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom management and high expectations for student achievement.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
