Forklift Operative

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team on a night‑shift schedule. You will be responsible for moving, loading and unloading pallets safely while supporting the overall flow of goods through the warehouse and dispatch area.

Key responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently in line with company policies and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Load, unload, move and stack materials, goods and products as required.
• Carry out visual inspections of forklift equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
• Complete warehouse documentation and support inventory control procedures accurately.
• Assist with picking, packing, labelling and general warehouse duties.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Required profile

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB / ITSSAR accredited or equivalent).
• Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Working knowledge of PMC or similar inventory management systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within a warehouse.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and record‑keeping skills.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £13.77
• Night‑shift schedule (Tuesday to Saturday, 19:00‑07:00)
