Forklift Truck Driver

About the role
We are looking for a Forklift Truck Driver to join our client’s team in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. The role involves loading and unloading lorries and containers to ensure the safe transit of goods, working on a rotating shift pattern of 7:00‑16:00 and 9:00‑18:00, Monday‑Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Operate forklift trucks to load and unload lorries.
- Store stock in the correct locations using forklift trucks.
- Use hand‑held scanners for picking items.
- Pick items for the engineering team.
- Break down palletised goods.
- Replenish stock and conduct stock taking.
- Maintain general housekeeping and keep the warehouse clean and tidy.
Required profile
- Current Counterbalance Forklift licence.
- Ability to use warehouse computer systems and hand‑held scanners (advantageous).
- Physical fitness for manual handling and lifting.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Required skills

- Warehouse inventory software usage.
What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.00 – £13.24.
