Forklift & Warehouse Operative – 12‑Week Temp‑Perm

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Forklift and Warehouse Operative to join our client’s fast‑paced warehouse and manufacturing site. The role is a 12‑week temporary‑to‑permanent contract with immediate start, offering morning or evening shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machinery safely and efficiently, including feeding materials and packing finished products.
• Drive forklift to move sawdust, hay, animal bedding and other stock around the site.
• Pack finished goods ready for dispatch and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor machine performance, report any issues and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Support general warehouse and production duties as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Machine Operative or in a warehouse/production setting.
• Comfortable working with sawdust, hay and bedding materials.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work well within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and health & safety awareness.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive to the site.
