About the role
First Military Recruitment is seeking a Forklift Workshop Engineer to join a client in Bolton. The role involves routine maintenance and repair of forklift trucks and other lifting equipment, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Service and repair forklift trucks and lifting equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil, fuel, hose, and connection checks.
- Conduct steering, brake, and basic electrical checks (e.g., brake lights).
- Liaise with customers to understand their specific requirements.
- Submit accurate parts requisition information to the Head Office.
- Represent the company as a brand ambassador.
Required profile
- Strong mechanical engineering background.
- Customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence.
