Founder's Associate – Startup Drinks Brand

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the founders of a fast‑growing drinks brand. As a Founder’s Associate you will act as the right‑hand to the leadership team, gaining exposure to every facet of the business while driving key initiatives across operations, finance and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted extension of the founders across all business areas.
• Own operational processes such as order management, logistics coordination and customer issue resolution.
• Support inventory planning and supplier liaison.
• Maintain financial records, develop costing models and conduct margin analysis.
• Assist with cash‑flow monitoring and commercial decision‑making.
• Lead or support strategic projects including new product launches, trade events and process improvements.
• Take increasing ownership of initiatives currently managed by the founders.

Required profile

• Experience in a startup, scale‑up, consumer brand or high‑growth environment.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with finance (unit economics, margins, costing) and operational details (inventory, logistics).
• Commercially minded with strong analytical abilities.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to operate independently.
• Thrives in ambiguous environments and enjoys building something from the ground up.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Xero.
• Familiarity with Unleashed.
• Familiarity with Prospect.
• Familiarity with Mintsoft.
