Founding AI Product Engineer (Python, FastAPI, React)

About the role

We are building an end‑to‑end AI‑driven accounting firm where intelligent agents handle bookkeeping, reconciliation and reporting. As a founding engineer you will create the AI accountant platform and the tools human accountants use to review its work.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype, ship and iterate core features of the AI accounting platform.
• Own the full product lifecycle from scoping to monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with accountants to automate their workflows piece by piece.
• Track feature adoption, measure time‑saving impact and refine based on real‑customer feedback.
• Take responsibility for a significant portion of the platform within the first quarter.

Required profile

• True generalist who thrives in 0→1 product building.
• Passionate about AI agents and experienced with the latest large‑model tools.
• Strong opinions on AI tooling and a track record of delivering end‑to‑end solutions.
