Founding Mobile Engineer

About the role

Join the founding team of Suna, the first wearable focused on gut health and nutrition. You will own the mobile experience, starting with iOS and soon expanding to Android, turning raw sensor streams into clear, daily insights for users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the mobile codebase, architecture, and release pipeline.
• Implement and manage the BLE connection between the wearable device and the phone, including pairing, syncing, and background data handling.
• Transform continuous body data into intuitive, glanceable user interfaces.
• Ship high‑quality releases quickly, taking responsibility for testing and quality in a small team.

Required profile

• Self‑driven with a strong sense of ownership and agency.
• Proven track record of shipping mobile apps or side projects.
• Detail‑oriented and comfortable working with early‑stage consumer hardware.
• Committed to a mission‑driven environment and long‑term impact.
