Founding Research Scientist / Research Engineer

About the role

Join a founding technical team building AI that deeply understands people. You will help create the missing layer between individuals and foundation models, enabling richer, personalised AI interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop memory and personalisation mechanisms for AI systems.
• Research user modelling, preference learning and post‑training evaluation techniques.
• Explore human‑AI interaction methods and scalable machine‑learning infrastructure.
• Translate research ideas into working prototypes and production‑ready pipelines.

Required profile

• Experience at a leading AI lab, research institution or ambitious startup.
• Strong ability to build as well as conduct research, moving quickly from concept to implementation.
• Comfortable working without detailed specifications and thinking from first principles.
• Motivated to shape research direction, product strategy and company culture.
