FP&A Analyst – Fixed Term (10‑12 months)

About the role

The role is a 10‑12 month fixed‑term FP&A Analyst position based in Farnborough, working hybrid (three days in the office). Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will provide financial insight, support strategic planning and ensure accurate reporting across multiple European entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly sales commission process and produce related reporting in partnership with HR and commercial teams.
• Partner with UK and US finance teams during month‑end to review results and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support variance analysis, comparing actuals to budget and presenting findings to senior management.
• Produce weekly dashboards and KPI reports with timely delivery.
• Assist in preparing the Annual Operating Plan, including P&L and balance sheet forecasting.
• Contribute to long‑term financial planning aligned with business objectives.
• Analyse departmental productivity metrics and work with stakeholders to address performance gaps.
• Report on operational performance indicators such as fleet and product metrics.
• Manage monthly carbon offset calculations and associated reporting.
• Support forecasting, scenario planning, pricing analysis and financial modelling.
• Assist with due diligence activities and ad‑hoc analytical projects.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
• At least five years of finance experience.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and high integrity.
• Proactive, adaptable and confident in building relationships with international stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Financial modelling.
