FP&A Analyst

About the role

We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join a fast‑growing, private‑equity‑backed business in Warrington. The finance function is central to commercial decision‑making, and you will help shape the company’s strategic direction through robust financial analysis and modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated budgets, forecasts and financial models to support business planning and strategic decisions.
• Develop, enhance and maintain flexible Excel‑based financial models.
• Deliver insightful analysis, highlighting trends, risks and performance drivers for senior leadership.
• Produce and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reports to monitor performance.
• Partner with divisional finance, business development and operational teams to understand commercial drivers.
• Perform scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess risks and opportunities.
• Model cash‑flow forecasts and analyse working‑capital movements.
• Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation and best practices.
• Support investor reporting with accurate, timely financial information.
• Assist in enhancing the financial consolidation system and reporting capabilities.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance professional with prior FP&A experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive approach to turning complex data into business insights.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
