FP&A Controller

About the role

The FP&A Controller will join BAM's construction segment in the UK&I region, working from the London or Hemel Hempstead office. Reporting to the UK&I FP&A Director, this role sits at the heart of financial strategy, delivering insight and performance management for the segment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activities for the segment, including planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Own the segment’s cash‑flow and CTC forecasting, providing narratives that support strategic decisions.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles in partnership with divisional FP&A and business controllers.
• Partner with the Segment Finance Director to guide day‑to‑day finance operations and drive change initiatives.
• Deliver high‑quality management information and financial consolidation using SAP BPC.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FP&A or finance controller roles within a large, multi‑project environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
