FP&A Manager

About the role

Harper May Ltd is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead forecasting, planning and commercial analytics for its media and events portfolio. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will provide forward‑looking insight into events, sponsorship and content revenue, helping senior leadership understand unit economics, margins and cash requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain rolling forecasts across event, media and sponsorship revenue streams.
• Develop and evolve the annual budgeting process aligned with business strategy.
• Analyse event and campaign profitability, identifying drivers and month‑on‑month variances.
• Model scenarios for new events and revenue opportunities, stress‑testing assumptions.
• Produce regular commercial dashboards and management reports for the leadership team.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital planning.
• Support process improvement across planning and reporting systems.

Required profile

• ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification (or working towards) with relevant experience.
• 2‑4 years experience in FP&A, management accounting or commercial finance.
• Experience in media, events, publishing or similar project‑revenue businesses is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel modelling.
• Proficiency with financial systems and data analysis tools.
