FP&A Transformation & Insights Analytics AVP

About the role

The FP&A Transformation and Insights Analytics AVP will lead financial planning and analysis transformation initiatives for a brokerage and commodities firm in the City of London. You will deliver actionable insights through Power Bi, improve efficiency, and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead FP&A transformation projects and drive measurable improvements.
• Develop and deliver financial insights using Power Bi.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process enhancements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling activities.
• Analyse financial data to spot trends, risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
• Work closely with the accounting and finance teams to align objectives.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Strong experience in financial planning and analysis within brokerage, commodities or banking.
• Proven ability to lead transformation projects, especially using Power Bi.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools, ideally Advanced Excel.
• Strong communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
• Relevant finance/accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MBA).
