Framework & Strategy Manager – Operational Resilience

About the role

Santander UK is seeking a Framework & Strategy Manager to lead the design, implementation and maintenance of Operational Resilience frameworks across the organisation. Based in Milton Keynes or Glasgow, you will oversee the full data lifecycle, ensuring data assets are secure, compliant and support business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and embed Operational Resilience frameworks aligned with regulatory and internal governance standards.
• Lead annual Operational Resilience self‑assessments and regulatory reporting (ERCC, BRC) with strong data accuracy and auditability.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies, controls and standards to meet GDPR and other regulatory requirements.
• Architect and optimise data structures, flows and information‑management systems to enable resilient reporting and analytics.
• Implement data quality frameworks ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency and reliability across systems.
• Manage data integration across multiple platforms, guaranteeing consistency for board, regulatory and audit narratives.
• Collaborate with 2LOD and 3LOD teams to align risk management, governance and compliance activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational resilience, data governance or related risk‑management functions.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR and financial industry standards.
• Ability to translate complex data requirements into practical frameworks and controls.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
