Freelance Event Supervisor – Live Event Operations

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Event Supervisor to lead on‑site logistics for live events across the United Kingdom from early September to mid‑November. The role is hands‑on and floor‑based, acting as the primary point of contact for staff, suppliers and guests throughout setup, live operation and teardown.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee event setup, live operations and post‑event breakdown, ensuring the venue is ready before guests arrive and cleared afterwards.
• Brief, schedule and direct front‑of‑house, floor and stewarding teams, aligning coverage with the run‑of‑show.
• Coordinate suppliers, deliveries and technical crew arrivals, managing access times and smooth load‑in/load‑out.
• Maintain strict compliance with health, safety and licensing requirements on site.

Required profile

• Previous experience in event planning, coordination or hospitality.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and stay calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail and a professional, customer‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and variable event hours.
