Freelance ISO Lead Auditor / Consultant (South West, England)

About the role

We are seeking experienced ISO Lead Auditors and ISO Consultants to join our professional network on a self‑employed basis. The role is primarily remote, with occasional on‑site client visits in South West England, offering a steady pipeline of assignments matched to your sector expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct consultancy and audit assignments in line with contractual terms.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and assessment reports that clearly communicate findings.
• Provide actionable recommendations to address non‑conformities and improvement areas.
• Maintain accurate client records and update internal systems to ensure data integrity.
• Continuously develop technical knowledge of management systems and relevant ISO standards.

Required profile

• IRCA Lead Auditor (or equivalent) certification.
• Proven experience with one or more ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 42001).
• Background in implementing and/or auditing management systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Adaptability to varying client needs.
