Freight & Logistics Specialist (Global Logistics Executive)

About the role

Our client seeks a Global Logistics Executive to deliver end‑to‑end supply‑chain solutions for the aerospace sector. Working Monday‑Friday shifts (08:00‑17:00 or 10:00‑19:00) from a Heathrow‑based office, you will manage day‑to‑day freight operations across air, road and sea modes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export and import bookings for road, sea and air freight.
• Produce shipping documentation, customs submissions (export & import) and obtain freight rates.
• Generate customer quotations and provide timely updates to ensure excellent service.
• Enter order data into in‑house and HMRC‑linked systems for customs declarations.
• Maintain compliance with internal processes, regulations and governing law.
• Handle telephone and email queries, and support colleagues with customs data entry.
• Oversee physical processing of goods in transit facilities, including ETFS, using WMS and related IT platforms.

Required profile

• Experience in managing road, air and sea freight operations.
• Familiarity with customs formalities, export/import declarations and duty deferment.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and maintain high compliance standards.
• Strong organisational skills and capability to support workload distribution among team members.
