French speaking Accounting and Sales Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French‑speaking professional to join our finance and sales support team in London. The role combines core accounting tasks with sales administration, providing a vital link between our UK operations and French‑based accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Payable team and perform general bookkeeping activities.
• Process daily banking transactions and invoice entries.
• Follow up overdue payments and support credit control processes.
• Liaise with French accountants, preparing documents for month‑end and year‑end closing.
• Deliver prompt customer service by responding to enquiries efficiently.
• Enter and maintain sales orders in the system, ensuring accurate order details.

Required profile

• Fluent in French (written and spoken) – essential.
• Experience in an administrative role, preferably within an accounting environment – essential.
• Degree in Business Management, Accounting or Finance – beneficial.
• Proactive, confident and dynamic personality with strong communication skills.
• Team‑player attitude.
