French speaking Business Development Advisor

About the role

The Business Development Advisor will support French‑speaking corporate clients of a leading European banking group to expand their activities in the UK and Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the role combines market research, strategy implementation and client‑facing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market studies and research to identify growth opportunities.
• Lead specific mandates that involve in‑depth market surveys and competitor analysis.
• Develop and propose commercial strategies based on findings.
• Organise marketing and development events in the UK on behalf of French client companies.
• Meet with French business clients to promote the group’s services and advise on development strategies.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with a pragmatic, inquisitive mindset.
• Willingness to take ownership of assigned projects.
• Previous experience in market research or related fields.
• Interest in building a career in corporate business development.
• Understanding of the banking sector is a plus.

Required skills

• Fluency in French (native level, written and spoken).
• Fluency in English (native level, written and spoken).
