French Speaking Reservation Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a fluent French speaker to join our international logistics team in Poole. As the first point of contact for clients, you will manage transport bookings, coordinate with operational teams, and help ensure smooth freight movements across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Process all transport booking requests, including hazardous and explosive cargo.
• Propose tailored solutions and maximise vessel loading in collaboration with the Operational Route Manager.
• Handle service disruptions and coordinate responses with the Operational Route Manager.
• Maintain accurate administrative records for all transport documents.
• Communicate with ports, terminals, and internal teams to ensure efficient vessel operations.
• Provide client support via phone, web platform, and email, and train client representatives on online booking.
• Assist in training new arrivals to the team.

Required profile

• Minimum of a high school diploma (A‑level or equivalent) with at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Strong B2B customer service background.
• Fluency in French and English; Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of freight or transport industry preferred, but training will be provided.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard IT tools used for booking and communication.
