Front End Loader Driver – 12‑Week Temporary Cover

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Front End Loader (FEL) Driver to provide short‑term cover at the Mechanical Treatment Plant in Milton Keynes. This 12‑week assignment works the AM shift (06:00‑14:00) and offers a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the front end loader to move, load and unload waste materials safely and efficiently.
- Feed processing equipment and maintain waste stockpiles to support continuous plant operations.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections, report defects and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Assist with site housekeeping and ensure safe working areas.
- Collaborate closely with operations, maintenance teams and external contractors.
Required profile
- Valid NPORS Front End Loader qualification (essential).
- Experience in waste, recycling, industrial or similar environments is preferred.
- Reliability, strong work ethic and ability to commit to the AM shift pattern.
Required skills
- NPORS Front End Loader qualification.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £16.92.
- 12‑week fixed‑term contract.
- AM shift (06:00‑14:00) with regular hours.
